Rebecca has lived and proudly called Morinville home for the last 19 years. Along side husband Greg, Rebecca has raised a family here, volunteered here and worked in the community she calls home.
Currently working for Sturgeon Public Schools in a Mental Health Coordination position. The role promotes mental health capacity building in our rural communities.
Rebecca's background is diverse and eclectic. Graduating from MacEwan with a specialty in Volunteer Management and Fund Development, she has set forth a fantastic path.
With an extensive background in large scale disaster management, social/emotional development in youth, education and voluntary sectors, she brings a wealth of first hand knowledge, compassion and awareness.
Rebecca is the proud recipient of Morinville's Volunteer of the Year (2013), International Women's Day recipient, Morinville News, Mover and Shaker, as well, a National Rescuer award. She is also a Volunteer Mom in school, active on Morinvilles Marvelous Moms group, and current board member of Sturgeon Victim Services.
